The Shark is Broken at Lowry, The

The Shark is Broken

Following sell-out success at the Edinburgh Festival plus subsequent West End Broadway engagements, this hit comedy, written by Joseph Nixon and Ian Shaw (son of Robert) is coming to you on tour. Based on Robert Shaw's own drinking diaries during the shoot, we learn how the trio, fuelled by alcohol and ambition, passed the time bullying, bickering, and bragging while sitting out the interminable delays caused by their Great White co-star.

Paddy McGuinness at Lowry, The

Paddy McGuinness

For the first time since 2016, beloved comedian Paddy McGuiness returns to stand up as he takes off on a 40 date UK trek! Titled the 'Nearly There' tour, catch the Top Gear host doing what he does best at a theatre near you. First coming to our attention on Peter Kay's seminal nightclub-based sitcom Phoenix Nights back in 2000, he has rarely been off our screens since, with notable appearances on his own shows, plumb hosting gigs and even a stint in Coronation Street!

Al Murray at Lowry, The

Al Murray

Oi Oi then - Look who's back and heading out on a brand new tour for 2023 - it's only The Pub Landlord himself! With a barrel of new barroom banter, the iconic Al Murray is trailing the breadth and width of Britain once more on the Guv Island Tour! One of the most recognisable comics in the country, Murray has been honing his hilarious alter-ego since 1994. Don't miss the 'people's man of the people' as he serves up his unique observations on the country and offers a balm in the form of ancient pub wisdom.

Jack Dee at Lowry, The

Jack Dee

Fluent in sarcasm and dryer than a desert in high summer, Jack Dee has carved out his comedy niche as the beleaguered everyman, offering his observations in a grounded, deadpan style that never fails to get a reaction. The official grumpy old man now deigns to head on a brand new tour, titled 'Jack Dee: Small World' where he'll address the important questions of the age such as; how to do a Zoom call properly, what's new in the world of radiators and much much less.
