Who is Peppa Pig?

Safe to say that if you have kids under a certain age, you're already aware of television's favourite pink heroine and her farmyard mates. For those as yet uninitiated, Peppa Pig is the titular star of her own show, where she and her friends, (Suzy Sheep, Zoe Zebra, Pedro Pony, to name a few,) get up to all sorts of adventures, including riding their bikes to visiting Granny and Grandpa, in charmingly adorable shorts that appeal to toddlers. From live appearances to stage shows, Peppa has become an iconic children's TV character in the vein of The Clangers, Angelina Ballerina et al.
