Stunning voices.

Stunning vocals, beautifully passionately acted, slick choreography, musical direction perfection, atmospheric haunting & beautifully lit. A chanting, dreamy, charismatic stunning production. It doesn't get better than this.

Very average performances!

I have seen every version of this from its original production by Rufuss Norris In the west end in 2006. Sadly every touring production gets worse. John Partridge overacted to little effect, The actress playing Sally was very weak, she could sing but that is not the point of her part, she had to be able to act and sadly without that capability the show had little chemistry. However, the choreography was the best I have seen and full marks goes to all the dancers. The original west end production was much grittier which was sadly lacking in this current surgery production clearly aimed at a touring audience. I must just say that John Partridges performance was bordering on panto, unnecessarily crude, vile and offensive in places. I have seen him also in the tour of La cage Aux Folles and he overacted and ruined that show too!
