Venues Have Been Confirmed for Southampton, Bristol, Oxford, and Edinburgh.

The beloved ABBA musical Mamma Mia! is set to delight audiences across the UK once again with a brand-new tour kicking off in 2025. This tour marks a significant milestone as the show celebrated its 25th anniversary on April 6, 2024, cementing its status as one of the longest-running musicals in West End history since its premiere in 1999.

Mamma Mia! has captivated over 70 million people worldwide and grossed over 4.5 billion at the box office. The show, inspired by the timeless music of ABBA, features a heartwarming story about a mother, her daughter, and three possible dads on a picturesque Greek island. The musical's success has also led to two hit films, further solidifying its global appeal.

The tour will commence at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton from October 24 to November 8, 2025. Following this, the musical will travel to the Bristol Hippodrome (November 11-22, 2025), New Theatre Oxford (November 25-December 6, 2025), and the Edinburgh Playhouse (December 9, 2025-January 4, 2026). Additional dates and locations are yet to be announced.

Produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East, and Bjrn Ulvaeus in association with Universal, the musical boasts music by ABBA's Benny Andersson and Bjrn Ulvaeus, with a story written by Catherine Johnson. The creative team includes director Phyllida Lloyd, choreographer Anthony Van Laast, and designer Mark Thompson. The production's stunning visuals are enhanced by lighting designer Howard Harrison, sound designers Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision by Martin Koch. Judy Craymer, the show's creator and producer, expressed her excitement about bringing the tour to key UK cities, allowing even more fans to experience the magic of Mamma Mia!.

Tickets for the UK tour will go on sale on October 2nd 2024. Meanwhile, fans can still catch the West End run of Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre now!
